Yes, this show was such a success!!!! It was one of the funniest shows I've ever been to, that's for sure!! Probably the technically worst show I've ever been to, but whaddaya expect from ZCR anyway?!?? They Rule!! So glad I got the chance to see them!
So, what do people think of the new album? I'm online trying to find out how to buy it. I already emailed Freedom From, and they never wrote back, but that seems to be the only place to get it. But I just wanted to hear some opinions! BTW, thanks also to the person who posted that picture -- it's great!!

You can buy the CD from the folks at Million Dollar Performances. E-mail to management@americasfunnyman.com and they will assist you. I believe the price is $12.00.

i heard that record and it's a good one! 31 tracks, all of them "hot" (after playing the zip code rapists album i did an experiment: i picked 31 beatle tracks at random and played them in order. only 18 could truly be called "hot," and some were decidedly "lukewarm." so draw your own conclusions). not even ONE dull moment, and you can't beat that, especially in TODAY'S GLUTTED MARKETPLACE.

Here's the deal, as much as I really want to get into. This is something that me and Gre gg had been talking about for nearly 5-6 years. We finally got it done this summer. There has been massive delays however on the promotion and distribution side as I am promoting 2-3 records at once instead of one at a time, and the record that its going out with, V/A = Like a Rug in a Lake CD, has had a bit of a problem (needs to be repressed because of mistracking). We are in the midst of that, but the record is finally available via Midheaven, which is your best bet to get it. www.midheaven.com/labels/nonexc/freedom.from.html The live set in SF was recorded and we've been talking about that coming out sometime next year as well. But I think what is most important here is that Gr egg be goaded back into doing a label. I've tried doing this a few times, and evidently he's very much into private press stuff, but doesn't think if starts reissuing these old forgotten records that anyone will buy them?!? I had to tell him, "look, I've got a buddy who just sigend a manufacturing deal with Sub Pop essentially doing exactly that." Please tell him to think hard about doing this, the world misses Great Labels.

man, i think it would be great if gregg started another label!! Amarillo was the best at what they put out!!!...i personally went through all of my ZCR and Easy Goings records and transfered them onto a cd so that i would'nt have to play the wax anymore....i think that anybody that knows "good-times" music would definitly buy re-issues of that stuff!!
