SEE THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I HAVE BEEN SAYING!!!!!!!!!!
People come on this board and try to RUIN Neil's career -- and "fans" like clunt go to his shows ans STEAL his material go give to other comedians, and people like Inside info Mation say he has no fans.
I've been saying this ALL ALONG, and just this week "Inside info Mation" asked:
"sorry for hurting Neil's career. Have they pulled him of stage in Scotland because of my last message ?"
WELL GUESS WHAT?!?! THEY PULLED HIM OFF THE STAGE IN ENGLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is clearly a result of the action we've seen on this board recently.
WE NEED TO PROTECT NEIL! SHUT THIS BOARD DOWN!!!

Can I be realistic, with-out getting my head bitten off ? Neil would LOVE getting pulled off stage and DELIBERATELY inciting an actual riot. Neil's personal favorite album and my favorite album is Hot February Night, his live album as support for Tenacious D...where, as any fan would know, he nearly incites a riot. Any fan would know he spends over half the set baiting the audience. It's part of his act and he'd love getting a big reaction. Not every time, but once in a while. It's a classic. I hope he's not hurt, but it's a triumph that his humor has divided an audience to the degree that they riot. Wish I was there.

Dear neilfans, everyone, on here: I think that some of them people (the stupid ones, who don't understnad neil) was possibly lost, & meant to go hear that (stupid) doughy, chubby man who has a show on TV, & always cries ( Fox). And so them people was allready to CRY, & Neil made them Laff. So of course theyre too STUPID to HANDLE THERE ANGER!!!!! It almost makes you want to kill someone, (but just in your mind). I had seen on a review (England )where some writer said Neil was always so SHOCKING, & if you didn't want to get SHOCKED, you couldn't HANDLE his show: Well Im sorry but I think Neil is THOUGHT_Porvoking. he has provoke me to thought, more times than I can count, & moastly, he is LAUGH- Provoking. (I agree with everything Pearls said, don't hurt neil unless you are ready to BRING IT, other countries, or this country, to!!!!!) ( )

I'll vouch for that, Sandersgirls! I've got probably 30 Neil shows under my belt (as we all do since we love Neil and not HATE him like Kwefe does) and one of my favorites was when I saw him open for this band called Puscifer in Phoenix. It was at a 1200 seat theater. Neil was of course great, but there were times where after his jokes I was the ONLY person laughing and clapping among the 1199 other idiots there. That made me laugh, too, because that is just like his old records. I just hope they don't hurt Neil, as we know those Germans can get violent, just like in WW Korea. I have to agree with these posts. Sanders, you're right, Neil is the sort of classy chap to take this in stride but it is UNACCEPTABLE to the FANS of the WORLD. If they took Neil off the stage when I was in another country I would probably be forced to become a foreign criminal, lose my passport, be put in prison, & end up on a List. Neilfans, please remain CALM, try to look innocent until you are safely out of harm's way. I hope this doesn't become an International Incident, starting a new War, like Ryan suggests. I think Neil would probably want to give peace a chance, if at all possible.

Hi all, I was in the crowd at the Reading Festival. If it's any consolation, a couple of other comedians got a worse reception than Neil Hamburger (Brian Gittins for one, and Cardinal Burns was awful too). I didn't enjoy Neil Hamburger (I'm more of a Milton Jones fan) but didn't throw anything - in fact the only time things were thrown was when Neil started calling the crowd assholes and other insults.
For clarity, the Reading Festival is a rock festival popular with fans of fairly hard rock as well as some more mainstream stuff. The Alternative tent is a tough crowd for a comedian as the average age in there is around 19 (I'm 34!!). Neil's act was wrong for the crowd (or vice-versa) and never got started.
Just to explain too, the crowd at Reading are a rather unruly lot - there's a tradition of setting fire tot he toilets on Sunday night and lots of tents were set fire to last year. Acts often see large mosh pits open up in front of them and bottle throwing (there are only plastic bottles there) is common, even for acts who are getting a good reception. Meatloaf once had to finish a set after 20 minutes when a cider bottle hit him in the face though, so it's not something I'm in favour of!
Some of my favourite comedians have played some awful routines (Milton Jones, Phil Kay, Lee Evans) and this one won't go down as a Hamburger classic, but be assured, there was certainly not a near-riot - he just got booed and had songs sung at him until he went off (not early by more more than a couple of minutes). Hope that clarifies things.

Gee, this makes it all sound so rational!
I guess I don't understand because in my country, unless you are a group of borderline retards we refer to as "Juggalos", if we don't like the act on stage, we will just ignore them, talk amongst ourselves, perhaps go get a drink at the bar, if the situation allows. What is with all this lynch mob mentality and trying to CRUCIFY HIM! toward the professional performer on the stage? Because you think you aren't supposed to like what you're hearing? How can you even hear it anyway, if shouting over it? I am sorry for the people in that crowd who actually LIKE Neil Hamburger and WANT to hear his HILARIOUS JOKES, when their peers have to shout over him and force him off their stage like a bunch of savage rampaging chimpanzees. Did the festival pay you to tell jokes on stage? Why are ye who BOOOOO the smart ones whom the show is about? WHAT AN UNRULY AND DEMANDING BUNCH OF TANTRUM THROWING INFANTS THAT CROWD!!
