I'm very upset at Neil- my Girlfriend and I have been waiting patiently for 4 years to see America/The Worlds Funnyman here in Britain and when he turns up he only does 2 shows- the first of which was sold out before he was announced (I honestly would have purchased tickets just to see Neil) and the second happened 20 minutes from my doorstep on the one day of the year I wasn't available due to agreeing to go to a friends lousy wedding. If anyone sees him, send him back!

It wasent Neil's fault, he wanted to do more shows there, but it was hard from lack of interest. But I know they want to send him back there in Fall so maybe if you have any ideas on this tell us or email the manage ment at Million Dollar Performances at neilhamburger@fresnomail.com

That's a great idea I never thought of that. Even if only 1% bought the album it would be a chart-hit!!! I wish we had Fans like your self over here that could do that.

We Brits love a cult hero! Hasn't Neil tried getting the students to love him over there?

Some of them do, but not nearly enough.
I know he has done lots of college shows though, in New York a few times and in Wisconsin too.

OK, I saw Neil at All Tomorrow's Parties - I'd got into his stuff through Mark Prindle's reviews site, and I was totally blown away - but worried - could He be so observant and sharp witted in front of a crowd of a Rock Festival?? Of course, Neil being the consumate professional he is, donned the velvet tux and slayed the note demanding "music lovers" with his impeccable delivery, nice hair and good manners!
Ahem. Yeah, he was really really funny. I'm a fan. I own Laugh Out Lord, America's Funnyman & Raw Hamburger - and I really want to get the new one and the Phoenix DVD. My friend John had something to do with the London show he played, he said he wasn't a fan - but the 6 or so people I dragged out of drunken fugs in their chalets loved him. I bust a gut several times.
One thing that occurred to me was that I could email Neil to see if he wanted to play another date if he was over for longer - I know a couple of clubs that would definitely book him and pay him in actual money, rather than AOL installation discs - but I didn't, thinking that ATP was a one off. If he's ever over, I wouldn't hesistate to ask, especially after seeing him, and how fucking funny he was.
Keep Up the Good WORK, Boni!

Yes, lots of people laughed. My friends turned up late and couldn't even get in the room, it was so packed with laughter and amusement. I heard one heckler (who was inept) and ignored him, but thought 'what a cunt.'
A few days afterwards, my friend said her boyfriend had been heckling him 'hilariously' throughout the show. I now do not speak to her for fear of meeting him.

Neil's managerment said that's something they are working on, probably for next Spring. And that he would play in Edinburg and Glassgow. Also, that if you had a suggestion to tell me, to tell them, to get more shows all over the Place.
