Grr at St Patricks day! Here in England St Patricks day means "the day when hundreds of middle class blokes with very English accents and paid for educations go out and populate the bars wearing green clothes and enormous hats shaped like a pint of Guinness, then declare themselves to be Irish because they can trace one side of their family back to Ireland in about the year 1600" or alternatively "The day the people who genuinely come from Ireland end up getting into a fight with a bunch of people who maintain that they are Irish despite the fact it obviously isn't true"

Neil likes eggs, but not to eat. He's more in to the canned fruit. He came over for dinner when he played at the Hollywodd Alley in Mesa, about 2 years ago (?) and I asked what he want me to cook, he didn't know, so I made potatoes. he also ate lots of bread that night. I would've made him my Famous egg lasagna if he wanted, no problem!!! But he specificaly didn't want the egg lasanga. He did have dessert (chocolate cake, again that I had made)
I took a cooking course at MCC so I know what I'm doing. I think Neil rarely get homecook meals, so he likes that, he eats so much canned fruit it must drive him crazy. There's a guy who books his show in Mobile Alabama they always have a home cooked meal for Neil I know he told me about it twice, he loved that one.
I'm lucky that i do this web site to get to know Neil a little bit, though he is a tough one to crack personally, because I think a lot of the problems of Today are weighing on him

I feel really sorry for Neil now! I wish I had a spare room so I could offer lodgings to Americas funnyman next time he comes to England I don't recommend giving Neil a room to stay in. Last time he was touring here, I let him stay in our spare bedroom for a night. He was still living with us 2 weeks later. I woke up one night and found him in the kitchen, licking our cutlery. I kicked the bum out on the street then and there.
