My friend had a poodle dog that got it tonge caught in a mouse trap one time, and it was bleeding, because it had tried to lick the cheese that was on it, and it did not know it was a mouse tap, and look at what happens but just the worst. Some people resort to cruel and unusal punish ment for there dog, like the guy who wrapped his dogs muzzle shut with duck tape so he would not bark, the dog died (couldn't brethe) and the owner was fined and jailed.

These People that do that to a Dog, well they are Worse than any Dog that ever lived, I would do what ever I could to make sure they are tormented, but there own Life is a Torment, in a way.

hello, interesting topic here, try training them when they are young, it seems to be the only real way to have a trouble-free dog. poor things, if they are not trained to be obedient then you just have to be patient, and realize that they are just willful due to lack of doggy education. i like them disobedient too, but quirks are distressing when they lead to glass eating etc. i am a dog lover, and hope that all owners try to understand why dogs are the way they are sometimes...and not resort to punishment for the dog's lack of education. they love to please, and it is so sad when they are trying to be good but lack the training to be controlled, and so start bad behaviour and misbehave in confusion. i know a shar-pei mix that was a pound puppy, and when she was a baby, got horribly burnt when she was spayed. she had to be in a diaper, and she was an invalid, so she could not be taught and trained at all. she was so freaked out and traumatized that it took years for her to regain any trust of people. she won't come, but she loves to please in other ways, ie. being patted etc. if only she had a normal puppyhood, i am sure she would have been able to be obedient, even a superdog! cheers!
